Symptom narrative

A few days after I received the flu shot at the [name withheld] Pharmacy in [city, state withheld] I noticed pain and stiffness in my wrists. The pain was worse in the arm in which the injection was given. Over the next few weeks the pain has somewhat mitigated, but it is not going away. I have also noticed some unusual sensitivity on the skin of both wrists - similar to a non-rash shingles sensation. While the pain and stiffness may have lessened over the past week or so, it is difficult to tell if I am getting better. I notice in the VAERS Table of Reportable Events Following Vaccination that the flu vaccine can lead to Guillain-Barre Syndrome in the time frame that I am presently in. This event causes me great concern.
