paralyzed/paralyzed in on left side of body; This serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of left sided paralysis in a female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced left sided paralysis (Verbatim: paralyzed/paralyzed in on left side of body) (serious criteria GSK medically significant). The outcome of the left sided paralysis was unknown. It was unknown if the reporter considered the left sided paralysis to be related to Shingrix. The company considered the left sided paralysis to be unrelated to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 09-DEC-2025 The patient self-reported this case for herself. Patient reported that she received a dose of Shingrix in 2019 that left her paralyzed in on her left side of her body. Patient did not provide any additional information. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.; Sender's Comments: A case of Hemiplegia, unknown time after receiving a dose of Shingrix in a female subject. Causal association is indeterminate. Based on the available information a possible causality that the event was caused by the GSK product cannot be ascertained. Consent for further follow up has not been received.
