Patient came to pharmacy about a comirnaty shot he received on 10/21/25. He had a handwritten note, which read as follows: Today 11/2/25 is the 13th day that I got my covid vaccine which was injected into my left arm on 10/21/25 at Pharmacy. The second day I got the injection, I started feeling the ache, which was normal like the one I got last year. I had hoped the ache will last for 4 to 5 days because the one I got last year lasted for 4 days and was gone. Today is the 13th day that I got vaccinated and the ache in my upper left arm is still there on the 9th day after the vaccination, 10/30/25, I used press washer to wash our driveway. After that, I was surprised that I couldn't hold a bottle of water with my left arm for hours, though, I only used the left arm occasionally, for I am not left-handed. I never experienced that before. As of now, the pain is felt only when I moved the left arm, mostly in the upper arm. I am reporting this side effect as advised by the pharmacy. Note: The pharmacist told me that day thee the covid vaccine I am getting is a new version. He signed his name and dated note in upper right hand corner 11/2/25; however, that was not the day I received the letter. I told him I was sorry to hear his arm was bothering him and asked if he had done anything about this ache. He reported he went to his family doctor on 11/17/25 was given a Prednisone dose pack 10mg that he took for 6 days (not filled at our pharmacy). He also reported that his arm felt better while taking the dose pack, but went back to hurting after the medication was gone. I let him know that I would report this adverse reaction and I would call Pfizer to see if they had any data that would be helpful.
