I am the patient who is describing. Four days after the vaccine to which I had a low fever and sore arm, that Sunday night around 10:00 PM, my pulse went up to 193. I have atrial fibrillation for seven years and never have had a pulse like that. I was alarmed and called my daughter and also began taking additional beta block half pills of Atenolol. My daughter drove down and called EMS . I was already getting my pulse lowered with the pills. They checked me out and felt I could stay at home. That night when I finally went to bed, I coughed the entire night and also had diarrhea the entire night so that in the morning, I was exhausted. My daughter called a hospital nurse and she said to bring me in to the ER. She did bring me to [name withheld] Medical Center ER. I was short of breath and they admitted me. They diagnosed it as pneumonia with Acute Respiratory Failure, I was there for three days as my sodium had dropped.
