slightly improved but still very painful; Shingles; PHN; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer and described the occurrence of shingles in a 60-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) (batch number GJ952, expiry date 25-APR-2027) for prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included blood cholesterol increased, restless legs syndrome and anxiety. Concomitant products included atorvastatin, ropinirole and buspirone hydrochloride (Buspar). On 04-NOV-2025, the patient received Shingrix. On 12-NOV-2025, 8 days after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: Shingles) and post herpetic neuralgia (Verbatim: PHN). On an unknown date, the patient experienced pain (Verbatim: slightly improved but still very painful). The outcome of the shingles and post herpetic neuralgia were not resolved and the outcome of the pain was resolving. It was unknown if the reporter considered the shingles, post herpetic neuralgia and pain to be related to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the shingles, post herpetic neuralgia and pain to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 12-DEC-2025 The patient had post herpetic neuralgia or Shingles as a result of the vaccine. The pain has slightly improved but remains very painful. The prescribed medication makes her sleep which does not allow to work. The symptoms were treated.
