Symptom narrative

Patient came to pharmacy on 12-18-25, the day after vaccination, to report a quarter sized red spot at site of injection which the patient considers to be warm to the touch. I touched the site myself and did not discern any temp difference from surrounding area. Below the skin is a nodule, the size of a pea. I counseled patient that it may be self limiting and get better, or if the swelling or redness increase or if the patient develops a fever then she should her doctor to assess possibility of infection.
