We Gave Heplisav-B Today And It Expired Yesterday; First Dose Given in Sep-2025, Second Dose Given in Dec-2025; Initial report received on 01-Dec-2025. A nurse in the US (OH) reported that a 26-year-old female received HEPLISAV-B (hepatitis B vaccine) for hepatitis B immunization that had expired the day before administration. No medical history or concomitant medications were reported. On 16-Sep-2025, the patient received dose 1 of a hepatitis B vaccine [HEPLISAV-B (lot number, expiration date, NDC number, site, and route not reported). On 01-Dec-2025, the patient received dose 2 of a hepatitis B vaccine [HEPLISAV-B (lot number 943187, expiration date 30-Nov-2025, NDC number 43528-003-05; site not reported)] intramuscularly. The dose was expired at the time of administration. No adverse reactions were observed. No other information was available.
