Pt was sitting beside her father and holding his arm. MMR vaccine provided w/ proper technique and then noted pt became pale and was unconscious laying on her father. Immediately, w/ father's help laid pt down, elevated her feet, and monitored pt until she regained consciousness. Approximately 30-45 secs before arousing. Pt remained laying down for 5-10 mins, asked for water, and was diaphoretic. Father continued to stroke pt's head and sooth her. Apple juice and cool compress was provided and pt then was able to sit up. Color returned, denied any dizziness, and was able to walk out w/ father beside her. He stated she has fainted w/ every vaccine provided.
