near miss early dose; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of intercepted product administration error in a male patient who did not receive HAB (Twinrix) for prophylaxis. Concomitant products included Hepatitis a vaccine inact, Hepatitis b vaccine rHBsAg (yeast) (Twinrix) and Hepatitis a vaccine inact, Hepatitis b vaccine rHBsAg (yeast) (Twinrix). The patient did not receive the 3rd dose of Twinrix. The patient had intercepted product administration error (Verbatim: near miss early dose). The outcome of the intercepted product administration error was not applicable. The patient wants to stay on standard dose but wants to receive a thirdrd dose early before going on a trip. The patient came in for third dose at the time of reporting but pharmacist said she wanted to do more research before administering the third dose. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter.
