Symptom narrative

Patient received his DTaP and Hib vaccines on 12/16/25 at his check up. On 12/17/25, he developed a rash with hives to his face and redness to his arms and his right thigh. There isn't anything on the left leg (where he got his vaccines). On exam on 12/18, he also has a red throat leading me to suspect that he has picked up a viral illness which is likely also causing the rash. He is otherwise well. Mom also thinks he has a new virus but we are reporting out of caution.
