Pulmonary embolism

Symptom narrative

a pulmonary embolism with multiple blood clots in both lungs; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP from a sales representative. A 79-year-old female patient (not pregnant) received BNT162b2 omicron (lp.8.1) (COMIRNATY (2025-2026 FORMULA)), on 27Oct2025 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown), in arm for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history was not reported. The patient took concomitant medications. Vaccination history included: Covid-19 vaccine (Primary immunization complete), for Immunization. The following information was reported: PULMONARY EMBOLISM (hospitalization, medically significant) with onset 30Oct2025, outcome "recovered with sequelae", described as "a pulmonary embolism with multiple blood clots in both lungs". Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of pulmonary embolism which included blood thinners and pain medicine. No follow-up attempts are possible.
