patient pulled away and then the rest of the syringe was 0.1 that was left in the syringe; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of incomplete dose administered in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. The patient received Shingrix .4 ml. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced incomplete dose administered (Verbatim: patient pulled away and then the rest of the syringe was 0.1 that was left in the syringe). The outcome of the incomplete dose administered was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK receipt date: 12-DEC-2025 During the injection Shingrix vaccine to a patient, the patient suddenly pulled away and 0.4 mL of the dose had already been given. The pharmacist noticed that about 0.1 mL remained in the syringe and offered to administer the rest of the vaccine. However, the patient declined to receive the remaining portion of the dose. The batch number was not provided and a request for this information has been made.
