Upper right abdominal pain radiating to right shoulder blade and ribs; Upper right abdominal pain radiating to right shoulder blade and ribs; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer and described the occurrence of upper abdominal pain in a 62-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) (batch number 7YD42) for prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included gastroesophageal reflux disease and obesity. On 10-OCT-2025, the patient received Shingrix .5 ml. On 12-OCT-2025, 2 days after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced upper abdominal pain (Verbatim: Upper right abdominal pain radiating to right shoulder blade and ribs) and radiating pain (Verbatim: Upper right abdominal pain radiating to right shoulder blade and ribs). The patient was treated with clarithromycin (Macrobid). The outcome of the upper abdominal pain and radiating pain were not resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the upper abdominal pain and radiating pain to be related to Shingrix.
