Symptom narrative

Pt developed refractory thrombocytopenia that required hospitalization on two separate occasions (11/2/25 to 11/20/25 and 12/2/25 to 12/8/25). Platelet level <3 on addmission 11/2. Required multiple platelet transfusions. Developed PE and required insertion of an IVC filter and treatment with Eliquis once platelet count recovered. Platelet level 95 on discharge 11/20/25. Currently on high dose steroids and Rituximab.
