When leaving immunization room, patient stated feeling dizzy, lost consciousness and fell to the floor. Was unconscious for approximately 1 minute before coming to. Appeared extremely pale, sweaty, and disorientated. EMS was called and EMS dispatched while being advised to remain sitting with no water. Patient was monitored for any further loss of consciousness or symptoms. After waiting about 20 minutes, patient and parent, who was with him, declined waiting for EMS and left the store. EMS arrived approximately 30 minutes after EMS was called.
