Patient received a flu shot which was uneventful and "one of the best" he had ever received. Walked out of vaccination room and barely made it to the waiting area chairs feeling "like he was about to black out". Pharmacy staff was alerted by other waiting patients that someone wasn't doing too good. I (pharmacist) had my tech call 911 and I went out to assess and monitor patient. He was grabbing his upper stomach, red in the face and neck, seemed to have trouble breathing and talking. He was grimacing and moving around in his chair in pain and stretching out. He said he hurt all over, but couldn't really tell exactly where. His arms had tremors a few times and face and lips had tremors a few times when it looked like he was going through a shock of pain. His breathing eventually got better over approximately 15 minutes and by the time the EMS arrived and his pain episodes seemed to subside a lot. Then the EMS took him.
