Experienced pain when moving my arm started about 2 hours after a covid vaccination (10/16/25 @ 11 am) becoming intense pain over the next few hours. Research on internet discovered that it was likely caused by an improper injection location. Followed advice; A wait and see approach, beginning with taking an anti-inflammatory and ice the shoulder. Aleve (every 12 hrs) & ice pack (20 min intervals) for a few days, Little improvement over this time, still unable to move arm without pain. Pain did not improve; primary care office visit. (10/22/25) Doctor Prescribed: limited & gentle arm movement and prescription 20mg prednisone (7 days) 10/28/25 finished 7 days prednisone medication; pain, weakness and limited ROM persisted After allowing a couple of weeks to see if symptoms subsided, no progress. Advised to see Orthopedist by primary care physician Appointment on 12/10/25 with Orthopedist Exam and Xrays of shoulder MRI recommended and scheduled. Over the 2 1/2 months since my vaccination, this injury has caused significant limitations to my daily activities; everything from household chores, recreation, dressing, sleeping disturbance, etc.

Acromicoclavicular Joint: Mild acromioclavicular osteoarthrosis. Bursae: Mild subacromial-subdeltoid bursitis 12/19/25 Follow up visit with Orthopedist Review of MRI Suggested Cortisone injection-declined at this time/evaluate after PT Prescribed Physical therapy (2x a week, 4-6 weeks) Follow up appointment scheduled; 1/28/26
