Received call at 1: 27 pm from patient's mother stating that about 10 minutes after patient received Varicella vaccination, he began having abdominal pain and vomiting, and ears burning; denied swelling, difficulty breathing, rash issues. No other issues. RN instructed on symptoms to watch for and go to ED if any of the above symptoms listed. She advised to stay "close" to hospital for 30 minutes to ensure he did not have any other reactions. RN called patient back at 1:45 pm and he stated he had a rash and was on his way to ED. Confirmed with ED that patient did arrive at ED.
