vertigo; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP. A female patient received BNT162b2 omicron (lp.8.1) (COMIRNATY (2025-2026 FORMULA)), on 07Dec2025 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "COVID-19", start date: 2020 (unspecified if ongoing); "postural hypotension" (unspecified if ongoing). The patient's concomitant medications were not reported. Vaccination history included: Covid-19 vaccine (dose number unknown, manufacturer unknown), for COVID-19 immunisation. The following information was reported: VERTIGO (non-serious) with onset 13Dec2025, outcome "not recovered". Additional information: On 13Dec2025, the patient experienced vertigo, not simple dizziness, but a sensation as if the room and head were spinning. The patient had a separate issue of postural hypotension; however, this episode felt different because it occurred while lying down. The vertigo persisted even after getting up to sit at the side of the bed. In both instances, the symptom appeared after lying down. The reporter expressed concern of the safety profile because the patient had COVID in the past or whether this symptom had been reported as a side effect or adverse reaction.
