she got the COVID shot in 2024 she had a ringing in her ears. She did not inform me but also received her high dose flu vaccine the same day as her COVID vaccine; This is a spontaneous report received from a Pharmacist. A 74-year-old female patient received BNT162b2 omicron (kp.2) (COMIRNATY (2024-2025 FORMULA)), on 09Sep2024 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) at the age of 72 years, in left arm for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "Anxiety" (unspecified if ongoing); "Hypertension" (unspecified if ongoing). Concomitant medication(s) included: FLUZONE HIGH DOSE, start date: 09Sep2024, stop date: 09Sep2024. Past drug history included: Nsaids, reaction(s): "Allergy". The following information was reported: TINNITUS (non-serious) with onset 09Sep2024, outcome "unknown", described as "she got the COVID shot in 2024 she had a ringing in her ears. She did not inform me but also received her high dose flu vaccine the same day as her COVID vaccine". Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of tinnitus. The information on the batch/lot number for BNT162b2 omicron (kp.2) will be requested and submitted if and when received. Additional information: Patient reported that after she got the COVID shot in 2024 she had a ringing in her ears that prompted her to seek attention from MD and was subsequently placed on a prescription nose spray that she still uses to this day. She did not inform me but also received her high dose flu vaccine the same day as her COVID vaccine. Nasal Spray prescription from MD for ringing in her ears which is ongoing.
