I was giving covid vax to both pt and his wife. I did the questions and handed them their VIS. Went and grabbed vax for both pt and wife. Pt was supposed to receive uninsured covid vax. I went ahead and grabbed vax from covid uninsured basket. Pt received vax and had no complications. Let pt go and once pt had left I was entering vax and noticed I had gave a flu vax instead of a covid to pt. Went and spoke to Lead MA and also spoke to provider. Contacted pt and varbated the stated above and that provider stated pt might feel a little bit sick but should be okay. Pt still wants to get covid vax. Pt will be coming back in a couple of weeks for covid vax. I did have another pt later on in the day who needed a covid vax. I noticed I had grabbed it from the correct covid basket for this pt. When I went and looked in basket someone had put a flu vax box into our covid uninsured basket.
