administered the vaccine the nurse realize that it was expired on 04-Dec-2025; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of expired vaccine used in a 2-year-old male patient who received HBV (Engerix B) (batch number h39z4, expiry date 04-DEC-2025) for prophylaxis. On 23-DEC-2025, the patient received Engerix B. On 23-DEC-2025, an unknown time after receiving Engerix B, the patient experienced expired vaccine used (Verbatim: administered the vaccine the nurse realize that it was expired on 04-Dec-2025). The outcome of the expired vaccine used was not applicable.
