sneezing uncontrollably; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of SNEEZING (sneezing uncontrollably) in a 71-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273.251 (Spikevax LP.8.1 PFS) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The suspect product included Pre-filled Syringe injection for COVID-19 prophylaxis. No Medical History information was reported. On 19-Dec-2025 at 6:00 PM, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273.251 (Spikevax LP.8.1 PFS) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient started Pre-filled Syringe (unknown route) at an unspecified dose. On 19-Dec-2025, the patient experienced SNEEZING (sneezing uncontrollably). At the time of the report, SNEEZING (sneezing uncontrollably) was resolving. The relevant medical history (vaccines within the past 4 weeks, medical conditions) was reported as unknown. The concomitant medication was not reported by the reporter. On 19-Dec-2025 at 6 PM (Friday), the patient received the first adult dose of Moderna Spikevax and experienced side effects right after the shot. She was not really feeling sick but sneezed uncontrollably. She did not have a fever. In general, she was already feeling better by the day of reporting. Her question was whether this was considered a normal side effect because she did not find too much help with details consulting the Internet.
