patient was supposed to receive Infanrix but received Kinrix instead; Kinrix was the patient's 4th dose of DTaP and 4th dose of Polio.; Kinrix that was administered to a 16-month-old patient; This non-serious case was reported by a nurse via call center representative and described the occurrence of wrong vaccine administered in a 16-month-old patient who received DTPa-IPV (Kinrix) (batch number 34MF9, expiry date 13-FEB-2026) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included DTPa (Infanrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Vaxelis (received 3 doses). On 29-AUG-2025, the patient received Kinrix. The patient did not receive Infanrix. On 29-AUG-2025, an unknown time after receiving Kinrix , the patient experienced wrong vaccine administered (Verbatim: patient was supposed to receive Infanrix but received Kinrix instead), inappropriate schedule of vaccine administered (Verbatim: Kinrix was the patient's 4th dose of DTaP and 4th dose of Polio.) and inappropriate age at vaccine administration (Verbatim: Kinrix that was administered to a 16-month-old patient). The outcome of the wrong vaccine administered, inappropriate schedule of vaccine administered and inappropriate age at vaccine administration were not applicable. The reporter wanted to know what side effects and adverse reactions they needed to look for. The patient had been scheduled to receive Infanrix but had received Kinrix instead. Kinrix represented the patient's fourth dose of DTaP and fourth dose of poliovirus vaccine.
