Symptom narrative

Pt was diagnosed with myocarditis of unknown origin. Sx started with chest heaviness and discomfort 2 days after vaccination. She has only had mild sx since time of diagnosis, ongoing chest heaviness and discomfort now 10 days after onset, improving.

Lab data

EKG, echocardiogram, and cardiac cath were normal and heart function was normal on echocardiogram 12/19/2025. Troponin elevation was noted on blood work and this was the only sign of myocarditis.
