Symptom narrative

80-year-old patient reporting adverse reaction to COVID-19 mRNA vaccine (Pfizer) received on December 29, 2025, experiencing spasm-like symptoms from injection site down to elbow and hand, unable to spread fingers flat. Customer received COVID-19 mRNA vaccine (Pfizer) at Pharmacy on December 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Beginning the morning of December 30, 2025, she developed adverse symptoms affecting her left arm (injection site) extending from the shoulder down to the elbow and hand. She describes the condition as spasm-like, preventing her from placing her hand flat on a table or spreading her fingers. This is her first adverse reaction despite being diligent about receiving all previous boosters and vaccines. She previously worked at Pfizer and had consistently used the same manufacturer for her vaccines. Customer has a doctor's appointment scheduled for 9:30 AM Eastern time on December 31, 2025, to address this issue.
