Suspected vaccination failure; pain of Shingles/ rash; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a 78-year-old patient who received Herpes zoster (Herpes Zoster vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Herpes Zoster vaccine. On 07-DEC-2025, an unknown time after receiving Herpes Zoster vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: pain of Shingles/ rash). The patient of age 78-year-old had pain of Shingles that appeared on 07-DEC-2025. The rash did not appear for 5 days. The patient reported that had been in excruciating pain for nearly four weeks. The patient mentioned that one day with no pain and thought was finally on the road to recovery. But the next morning when woke up with pain. The patient had taken all the medications my doctor prescribed, yet the pain medicine didn't seem to help. The thought of having to live with this pain makes patient want to die. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding completion of primary schedule, time to onset for shingles and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
