My husband got shingles in the wrong place; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of shingles in a male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: My husband got shingles in the wrong place). The outcome of the shingles was not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the shingles to be related to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the shingles to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 26-DEC-2025 This case was reported by a patient's wife via interactive digital media. The reporter's husband and the reporter were waiting for the 6 months for their second vaccine shots. Her husband got shingles in the wrong place for men before he reached 60 and before the vaccine. It was bad and painful so now (at the time of reporting) when they were due, he didn't think twice.
