Symptom narrative

Family noticed an area of redness and small nodule at site of vaccines given at 6 mo appt some time in Dec. First called office on 12/16, examined at appt they scheduled on 12/22. Thought to be injection site nodule but ordered an ultrasound for definitive diagnosis. US showed what was thought to be a small abscess. It was drained at ED on 12/30/25 but wound culture revealed no bacteria.
