Symptom narrative

Patient states abnormal pain during injection. Pain persisted for days beyond initial injection. Patient treated with over-the-counter aspirin and acetaminophen which did not provide relief. After 10 days of self-treating, patient went to the orthopedic walk in clinic. The ortho provider did physical examination and X-rays which were negative for fracture, misalignment, or malformations. X ray did show moderate AC joint anthrosis. Patient was given oral steroids and a referral to physical therapy.

Sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim, diphenhydramine, pantoprazole, troleandomycin, ibuprofen, latex, thimerosal

Lab data

X-rays on 12/22/25- negative for fracture, misalignment, or malformations. X ray did show moderate AC joint anthrosis.
