Patient came in to get a flu shot with her daughter. We mistakenly gave patient the Shingles shot intended for her daughter. This would be her third shingles shot. She received the first two on 12/29/23 and on 8/4/2023. We informed patient that she received the incorrect shot. She has reported no adverse event but we will monitor and check back with her next week. She is aware that only 2 shots are recommended and we counseled her on potential side effects.
