POTENTIAL Adverse Event (as there was not given a certain cause of the loss from the treating provider post-adverse event): Pre-term loss of fetus in utero. Treatment: Experienced the loss of my baby 01/01/2023 before leaving for a ShiftKey acquired PRN job. At the time, I did not know what had been expelled from my body; I just realized in that moment that I had lost an immense amount of blood after implementing the toilet to use the bathroom. I noticed what seemed to be like some sort of tissue in the water with the blood. I was able to remove the unknown object and examined it, to which I still had no answer. I told my Father, that was in the living room, that I "think I have a tumor or something going on in my reproductive system because this isn't normal". Later on in the shift, after researching what a fetus would look like, I determined that I had experienced a pregnancy loss. I went to the emergency room for treatment following the shift. No treatment was given. I was diagnosed with "vaginal bleeding". The provider did not assess the photo that I had taken, as I had urged him to look so that I could be provided with some type of answer as to why this occurred. He did not assess the photo. I was given an IV while awaiting provider evaluation. No medications were administered. The IV was removed and I was discharged with a note written for a 7-day provider ordered leave from work. I was not asked about my vaccination history during my Emergency Room visit.
