Symptom narrative

Upon administering the flu vaccine, only partial (about half) of the vaccine was administered intramuscularly due to patient abruptly moving. Patient tolerated well. However, mother would like to know if the remaining would be administered today. Unfortunately, the remaining amount in syringe was accidentally pushed out once needle was out of the muscle. Consulted with Dr. and she spoke with patient. Mom agreed, per Dr. recommendations, to receive another half of the flu vaccine today. Advised that patient return in a month to receive the second dose of the flu vaccine and agrees with plan of care.
