Symptom narrative

Patient received the first dose of Men B (Bexsero) vaccine in our office around 3pm on 12/19/25. At 5pm, pt developed fever and chills. Then developed chest tightness impending deep breaths. Severe chest pain developed between 9-10pm. Patient was seen at Emergency Room on 12/19/25 at 10:48pm (notes attached). EKG done and was normal. No other tests or labs done. Exam in ER was reassuring overall 600mg ibuprofen administered. Diagnosed chest pain unspecified sent home with instruction to continue ibuprofen and follow-up with pediatrician if symptoms persisted. Mild intermittent chest pain has persisted since episode a few days ago. Office visit with Dr in our office on 1/8/26. Normal vitals, EKG ordered, no results yet. If abnormal will refer to cardiology visit attached, symptoms are gradually improving.
