Symptom narrative

Pt developed pain, bruising, warmth and spreading erythema from injection site extending to distal inner left arm. Redness started two days after injection then began to spread. Pt also experienced chills but denied fevers. Pt was prescribed cephalexin 500 mg every 6 hours for 5 days. On going assessment by provider at follow up appointments.

Current illness

Acute cough without other symptoms

Medical history

Type 2 DM, Osteoarthritis, hyperlipidemia, obesity, hypertension, mild intermittent airway disease

Other medications

Metformin 500 mg one tablet twice a day. Albuterol Sulfate HFA for mils intermittent airway disease

Allergies

Lisinopril with reaction cough
