Symptom narrative

Pt was administered the flu vaccine in the right arm and Capvaxive in the left arm 1/7. Pt noticed redness in the left arm that night. They came to the pharmacy today (1/9) to have someone look at it. The area around the immunization was red and warm to the touch. The redness had spread around the arm and the pharmacist suggested that they have their primary look at it. The pt was seen by their provider. The provider suggested that the pt take Zyrtec and benadryl for a possible allergic reaction, and if that didn't help she prescribed an antibiotic for infection..
