Mom called us the day after he got the vaccines and stated around 6:30pm patient started projectile vomiting, fever, and increased fussiness. Mom said tried tylenol and didn't seem to help was sustaining a 101-102 fever. As time went on patient becoming more and more fussy per mom. Per mom, having to feed child every hour to reach 50% of normal feeds. Still having plenty of wet diapers. Made appointment for child to be seen in office. At home office, per MD had bulging anterior fontanelle. Referred mom to ED. During car ride mom stated child started screaming so took him to local ED. Who assessed him and in time at the ED patient started acting more like himself per ED Notes, was afebrile. From there was sent to Emergency Department where he was assessed and improved so was discharged home.
