Symptom narrative

Patient called to let us know that two days after the vaccination the injection site was red, warm with a small knot. I did let the patient know that for local injection site reactions best to apply a cold compress and can take an OTC medication for the pain and swelling. I informed patient to look for improvement and that it is common for injection site reactions to happen. I told her to call me tomorrow 01/11 to let me know if that worked and to follow-up with us again on Monday 01/12 to make sure we are improving.
