He received his vaccination into the left arm at 9.45 am. Patient was leaning against the wall, waiting for his mom to open the door. At approximately 9.50 his complexion very pale, she helped him to the floor at which time he started vomiting. He was provided with juice and remained seated on the floor for about 5 minutes at which time he got up slowly. He was asked to stay in the area for a further time to ensure he recovered sufficiently. He was provided with another juice. Upon a follow-up telephone call at 3.20pm, his mother stated that he is fully recovered. His mother stated that he is fully up to date on all his other vaccinations and had never fainted before.
