Approximately 5 minutes after receiving the vaccine, the patient passed out. Fell to the floor, the father caught her. After a couple seconds she regained consciousness, but was very pale and also a little dizzy. We sat her in her father's lap in the chair and gave her some water while we called 911. We stopped giving water after EMS advised us not to. Patient stayed conscious while EMS arrived and seemed okay while being evaluated. Did not go to the hospital, and EMS determined that the passing out was most likely due to nerves from getting the vaccine.
No other illnesses.
No chronic or long-standing health conditions.
No other medications at time at vaccination.
No known allergies.
