The patient's concurrent conditions, medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. On 03-Jan-2026, the patient was vaccinated with Pneumococcal 21-valent Conjugate Vaccine Solution for injection (CAPVAXIVE) in right arm for prophylaxis as recommended for her age-group (dose, dose number, route of administration, lot # and expiry date were not provided). On 04-Jan-2026, she started to experience symptoms of pneumonia, further described as very, very heavy chest congestion, a severe headache, and a fever of 101 Fahrenheit degrees. She also reported that she was not able to eat very much since 04-Jan-2026 and was only able to drink water and had only three tablespoons of tomato soup and that was it because she had no appetite at all. She reported that she was not able to stand up for very long and got dizzy and weak when she tried to stand up. She could not stand up without almost passing out due to dizziness. On 08-Jan-2026, during the call, she was coughing and, when asked, reported that the coughing started on 04-Jan-2026 and that she was coughing so hard that her ribs/ rib cage hurt very much. When asked if she did anything to treat her symptoms, she reported that she was taking aspirin (also reported as been taking aspirin regularly) and unspecified cough medicine, though it was hard to take the cough medicine when she could not eat. When asked, she reports that she did not have any symptoms prior to getting the vaccine on 03-Jan-2026 and that all the symptoms started on 04-Jan-2026. As of 08-Jan-2026, she no longer had a fever. The outcome of fever was considered to be recovered on an unknown date in January 2026. The outcome of remaining events was not provided.
