first shot made me so very ill; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of illness in a 50-year-old patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced illness (Verbatim: first shot made me so very ill). The outcome of the illness was not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the illness to be related to Shingles vaccine. It was unknown if the company considered the illness to be related to Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 06-JAN-2026 This case was reported by a patient via interactive digital media. Patient had received the first shot when patient turned 50, which was three years ago. Patient refused the second dose because the first shot had made him/her very ill. Patient did not want to go through that again. Unfortunately, patient could not get an answer as to whether the first shot had been sufficient. Patient also wanted to know if there had been another alternative to this shot so that patient would not have been as ill as he/she was. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
