started experiencing a very full feeling in head; couldn't take like lights, like light stimulation things would bother me; sound sensitivity; Angry; lightheadedness/It was mostly dizzy; headaches; a lot of extreme fatigue; This spontaneous case was reported by a physician and describes the occurrence of HEAD DISCOMFORT (started experiencing a very full feeling in head), PHOTOPHOBIA (couldn't take like lights, like light stimulation things would bother me), HYPERACUSIS (sound sensitivity), ANGER (Angry) and DIZZINESS (lightheadedness/It was mostly dizzy) in a 74-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1283 (MNEXSPIKE PFS) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The occurrence of additional non-serious events is detailed below. The suspect product included Pre-filled Syringe injection for COVID-19 prophylaxis. Previously administered products included for COVID-19 prophylaxis: Spikevax NOS (Dose 1), Spikevax NOS (Dose 4), Spikevax NOS (Dose 3) and Spikevax NOS (Dose 2). Past adverse reactions to the above products included No adverse effect with Spikevax NOS, Spikevax NOS, Spikevax NOS and Spikevax NOS. In 2025, the patient received dose of mRNA-1283 (MNEXSPIKE PFS) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient started Pre-filled Syringe (unknown route) at an unspecified dose. In 2025, the patient experienced HEAD DISCOMFORT (started experiencing a very full feeling in head), PHOTOPHOBIA (couldn't take like lights, like light stimulation things would bother me), HYPERACUSIS (sound sensitivity), ANGER (Angry), DIZZINESS (lightheadedness/It was mostly dizzy), HEADACHE (headaches) and FATIGUE (a lot of extreme fatigue). The patient was treated with Ibuprofen (oral use) in 2025 for Headache, at an unspecified dose and frequency. At the time of the report, HEAD DISCOMFORT (started experiencing a very full feeling in head), PHOTOPHOBIA (couldn't take like lights, like light stimulation things would bother me), HYPERACUSIS (sound sensitivity), DIZZINESS (lightheadedness/It was mostly dizzy), HEADACHE (headaches) and FATIGUE (a lot of extreme fatigue) was resolving and ANGER (Angry) outcome was unknown. For mRNA-1283 (MNEXSPIKE PFS) (Intramuscular use), the reporter did not provide any causality assessments. For Pre-filled Syringe, the reporter did not provide any causality assessments. Concomitant medication was not reported. It was reported that vaccine was received in late Sept or early Oct 2025. Patient had a bad reaction to this mNEXSPIKE. It was unpleasant. She had Moderna shots her whole life for COVID, but this one was really bad. About the next morning after she had the shot the day before. She started experiencing a very full feeling in her head and headaches, a lot of extreme fatigue. And then also it felt like, she couldn't took like lights, like light stimulation things would bother her. If it was too bright of a light or too loud of a sound. It felt like the symptoms of a concussion. It came also with lightheadedness. They were mostly resolved, but there were still a few. Now there was just a little bit left, she would say 10 percent was left, more of the fatigue and the lightheadedness, of just about 10 percent or maybe even 5 percent. It had been a couple of months really that it lasts. It lasted about 4 to 6 weeks. Patient had not talked to her doctor about it because she had not seen him in a while, but mostly she just handled it herself because she was just trying to get through it. There was really nothing to do. She just had rest. Patient didn't have severe headaches but had mild headaches. She never had this kind of reaction. She was so angry because she was trying to get away and everything. It was a different vaccine; she had 4 Moderna vaccines for COVID before and never had any reaction. It was scary though, because it involved her brain. Fortunately, it didn't involve thinking. Her thinking was fine. It was mostly dizzy and headache and couldn't have too much light or like sound or anything. She wanted to know it was kind of a hypersensitivity of her brain. The patient did not experience any additional symptoms/events.
