bled a little bit; lump on the arm; This is a spontaneous report received from a Pharmacist from medical information team. A male patient in his 50's received pneumococcal 20-val conj vac (dipht CRM197 protein) (PREVNAR 20), on 09Jan2026 as dose number unknown, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) at the age of 6 decade, in arm for immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: VACCINATION SITE HAEMORRHAGE (non-serious) with onset 09Jan2026, outcome "unknown", described as "bled a little bit"; VACCINATION SITE MASS (non-serious) with onset 09Jan2026, outcome "unknown", described as "lump on the arm". Additional information: a pharmacist wanted to get some information, per caller reading online says it is normal but never happened to her before, per HCP 10 minutes ago administered Prevnar 20 shot and after giving the vaccine patient had a lump on the arm right away, patient bled a little bit and then he (patient) had a lump. The reporter asked if it is that something completely normal with Prevnar 20 because the reporter have given so many and it never happened before. The information on the batch/lot number for pneumococcal 20-val conj vac (dipht CRM197 protein) will be requested and submitted if and when received.
