Symptom narrative

Tdap vaccine administered in right arm on January 4, 2026. Immediate pain occurred at time of injection. Within hours, developed significant shoulder pain with inability to lift arm overhead and decreased range of motion. Pain persisted daily with limited function. Evaluated by orthopedic specialist. X-ray of shoulder performed. Diagnosed with shoulder bursitis following vaccination. Received corticosteroid injection and referred to physical therapy. Symptoms ongoing at time of report.
