jerky movement before going to bed; usual nausea; myalgia; Initial information received on 12-Jan-2026 regarding an unsolicited valid non-serious case received from a nurse. This case involves a 52 years old female patient who had jerky movement before going to bed, usual nausea and myalgia after receiving rabies (HDC) vaccine [Imovax Rabies]. The patient's past medical history included Dyskinesia. The patient's past medical treatment(s), vaccination(s) and family history were not provided. On 05-Jan-2026, the patient received an unknown dose of rabies (HDC) vaccine Powder and solvent for suspension for injection (strength, expiry date and lot number not reported) via unknown route in unknown administration site for Immunization. On 05-JAN-2026 the patient had jerky movement before going to bed (dyskinesia), usual nausea (nausea) and myalgia (latency- same day). It was reported that, "patient was due for last dose on 12-JAN-2026. Last night the patient had the little jerky movement again and she came today for her shot, but they advised to go to the emergency room and take the Rabavert instead. Reporter was calling in today to see whether this was a normal side effect for the IMOVAX, it didn't sound severe to the nurse practitioner, but she just wanted to confirm with the manufacturer. The nurse practitioner stated that she was calling for the patient's piece of mind and her piece of mind too. The nurse practitioner stated that they sent her to get final dose at the ER (emergency room) with RabAvert because she had no side effect to RabAvert so the patient is completing the series."
