I got your vaccine and booster back in 2020, I still ended up with COVID; I got your vaccine and booster back in 2020, I still ended up with COVID; PATIENT SUPPORT PROGRAM This is a solicited report received from a Consumer or other non HCP, Program ID. A 66-year-old female patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), as dose number unknown (booster), single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "Type 2 diabetic" (unspecified if ongoing); "high blood pressure" (unspecified if ongoing); "heart arrhythmia" (unspecified if ongoing). The patient's concomitant medications were not reported. Vaccination history included: Bnt162b2 (Primary Immunization completed), for COVID-19 immunization. The following information was reported: COVID-19 (medically significant), DRUG INEFFECTIVE (medically significant), outcome "unknown" and all described as "I got your vaccine and booster back in 2020, I still ended up with COVID". Clinical Course: During an inbound call for financial assistance the patient, the patient stated, "she was trying to get a reduced price on the Paxlovid. She was told she had a six-hundred-(Withheld) copay at # today due to she not having met her deductible yet. Nobody asked her to get COVID five days into the new year. But she was a Type 2 diabetic. She had heart arrhythmia, and she had high blood pressure. She was diagnosed with COVID today along with strep throat, and her family doctor prescribed Paxlovid, but when they tried to get a coupon or discount card, they were telling her she was not eligible because she had the (Withheld) through (Withheld) and she is sick... she meant, she got your vaccine whatever, and your booster back in 2020 and she still ended up with COVID. Same thing the following year. Got the vaccine and she still ended up with COVID. The second time she ended up having to get a transfusion because she had it so bad. The vaccine didn't help her at all. She does not want to end up in the hospital in the ER again, but she can't afford to pay six hundred # copay for a prescription. She meant her husband and she both retired, they are on social security." She just retired back in Mar and she feeling the effects of everything right now. She hoped to start the medication today because today is like day five. The reporter's assessment of the causal relationship of "i got your vaccine and booster back in 2020, i still ended up with covid" and "i got your vaccine and booster back in 2020, i still ended up with covid/following year, got vaccine i still ended up with covid. vaccine didn't help me at all/diagnosed covid today along strep throat" with the suspect product(s) BNT162b2 was not provided at the time of this report.
