A 73-year-old female patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2 NOS), as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) and as dose 2, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: DRUG INEFFECTIVE (medically significant), COVID-19 (medically significant), DISEASE RECURRENCE (medically significant), outcome "unknown" and all described as "Covid after Vaccines/ got COVID, and then got COVID again". Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of drug ineffective, covid-19, disease recurrence. Clinical course: During an inbound call for financial assistance, the patient, (name), stated, she was calling today because she was prescribed Paxlovid. Towards the end of call, (name) stated, she don't understand was that she took her vaccines against COVID of Pfizer and again she got COVID. she don't understand. (name) continued, she have the two vaccines from Pfizer, and she got COVID, and then she got COVID again. She have COVID, having the vaccines against it from Pfizer. when offered to speak with the agent, (name) declined stating, No, it was going to be the same, better not if already she got the COVID, what would be that for. she don't know why they asked for so many things. she only wanted to help, and her doctor had already sent this in the formula to the pharmacy. No follow-up attempts are possible. Batch/lot number is not provided, and it cannot be obtained.; Sender's Comments: The efficacy of a drug varies from patient to patient and can be affected by different factors; however, a contributory role of the suspect product bnt162b2 to the reported drug ineffective and COVID-19, disease recurrence cannot be ruled out.
