Symptom narrative

Patient found with bubbles in mouth & unresponsive & in septic shock. Was presumed to be herpes encephalitis. Recently, varicella titers were tested and found to be (+) for IgG even though patient never had clinical chicken pox. Mother breast fed. ID doctor felt the virus transferred by direct contact from mother to patient
