Symptom narrative

Patient presented 12/10 to the hospital and was admitted with disseminated varicella zoster infection. He had vesicular lesions on trunk, extremities, oral mucosa as well as abdominal and chest pain. He was treated with IV acyclovir with improvement and was transitioned to valtrex to complete a 14 day course.
